Meet Mollie Gallagher: Dancing on Ice 2023 contestant and Coronation Street star
She's swapping the cobbles of Weatherfield for the ice rink.
We're heading into Week 3 of Dancing on Ice and this Sunday's show is set to be particularly enjoyable for theatre fans as it's Musicals Week!
Back on the ice after her debut last weekend is Mollie Gallagher, who is channelling her inner Sara Bareilles with a routine to 'She Used To Be Mine' from Waitress.
The soap star came in third place on the leaderboard last week after picking up an impressive 26.5 from the judges, while viewers said goodbye to footballer John Fashanu after he lost the first skate-off to Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
With ITV1 teasing a "dramatic twist to the elimination" on Sunday, anything could happen in the competition – but will Mollie and her pro Sylvain Longchambon survive another week on the ice?
Here’s all you need to know about Mollie before she returns to Dancing on Ice.
Who is Mollie Gallagher?
Age: 25
Job: Actress

Paired with: Sylvain Longchambon
Mollie hails from Salford and joined the cast of Coronation Street shortly after graduating from drama school.
She plays Nina, the long-lost niece of Roy Cropper, in the Manchester-set soap, and has featured in some hard-hitting storylines since making her debut on the cobbles in 2019.
Nina and boyfriend Seb (played by Harry Visinoni) were the victims of a brutal hate crime in an episode which aired in 2021, and Seb later died in hospital.
The storyline received the award for Best Storyline at the 2021 Inside Soap Awards, and Gallagher also won the Best Serial Drama Performance trophy at the National Television Awards in the same year.
Mollie Gallagher's Dancing on Ice 2023 scores
Week two: Angeleyes by ABBA (6.5 + 6.5 + 6.5 + 7.0) = 26.5
Coronation Street's Mollie Gallagher took to the rink last weekend with her performance to Angeleyes by ABBA, receiving an impressive score of 26.5.
The soap star came in joint third place alongside comedian Darren Harriott.
What has Mollie Gallagher said about joining Dancing on Ice 2023?
When she announced that she’d be taking part in the competition during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine last year, Gallagher said that she was feeling “really excited”, but her nerves hadn’t yet started to kick in.
She said she’d be seeking advice from her Coronation Street co-stars who have previously appeared on Dancing on Ice, admitting: “I’ll be getting all the tips I can because I’m going to need it!”
She’ll certainly have plenty of castmates to choose from when it comes to asking for hints, including Sally Dynevor, who appeared in the contest last year, and Samia Longchambon, who married skating pro Sylvain after meeting on the show in 2013.
When Mollie and Sylvain announced that they’d be skating with each other, they shared a photo posing on the soap’s set, with the latter writing: “Keeping it in the Coronation Street family!”
